Modi-In is committed to providing an equal and accessible service to everyone, including people with disabilities.
Accessibility level
This site aims to meet the Israeli Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568, which is based on WCAG 2.0 level AA.
Accessibility menu
Every page has a fixed accessibility button (a person icon in a blue circle, in the bottom corner). The menu offers: three levels of text size, high contrast, highlighted links, a readable font, increased text spacing, stopping animations and motion, a large cursor and highlighted headings. Settings are remembered across pages and can be reset with one click. The menu is keyboard accessible and closes with Esc.
What has been made accessible
- A clear heading structure and consistent navigation on every page, with breadcrumbs on inner pages.
- Full keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator and a skip-to-content link.
- Text alternatives for images, and correct language tags.
- Forms with visible labels and written error messages.
- Sufficient color contrast and readable fonts, on every screen size.
- Respect for the operating system’s reduced-motion setting.
Limitations
Some parts of the site, such as the 3D map on the keynote page and the scanned recommendation letters, may not be fully accessible. Their content also appears as text on the page.
